Do a little research online in regards to PS4 controllers and MCPE. There is thousands on thousands of requests for support of PS4 controllers on MCPE since shortly after inception of Minecraft on PS4. For the most part these requests have been ignored. As a result of this numerous refunds have been given by Google Play for this very reason. Mojang has the ability to respond to these requests but for some reason (which is not being made public) turning a blind eye to these requests.

These issues are unrelated. 1) Bug produced by this thread has never been addressed even though has been known about for over a year. 2) Controller used in other thread is already supported in the code of the game.
