I've never used a patch before, how does it work? Is it better to wait till Mojang fixes this issue? How does a patch effect later Snapshot updates?
How long does it take for Mojang to fix something like this? A couple of days? Or will we be waiting until the next Snapshot release? Will it even be fixed with the next release? I've never had an issue with minecraft before and I'm not sure what to plan for? Anyone have any experience with issues and their resolution time?
Same problem for me. I'm getting around 8 fps in 20w22a. I was getting around 60 with 20w21. Now my game play is so laggy I simply can't play. MAC - Processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3, Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, Graphics ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB. ...How soon can this be fix?
I really appreciate the efforts by @unknown and @unknown with their resource pack. I gave it a try, following the instructions posted by @unknown . My fps went from 8 to 13 with with an allocation 16 spike. My game play is still too laggy to play. It's crazy frustrating and I really miss how smooth things ran with 20w21a. I'm still hoping Mojang will official correct this issue. Based on the comments I guess I'll have to wait till the next Snapshot update to see if they fix it. What if they don't?
