After a couple of days of angst I was told about this thread. So this morning.

  1. Turned off Switch completely and back on.

  2. Opened Minecraft and tried to sign in.

  3. Entered aka.ms code on phone.

  4. Did nothing on Switch

  5. Opened Minecraft on phone.

  6. Pressed B on Switch and he was signed in (hurrah)

  7. Had to add him as friend again as it said I had no friends online

  8. He invited me. 

  9. Hope it works again tonight

I am also getting this problem. Worked a week ago then 2 days ago struggled to log on to multiplay. Now it won't at all. Put in the 8 digit code on browser then sign in to Microsoft but Minecraft wants me to sign in with another code ad infinitum
