It's working as intended
This is happening to me when placing blocks too, if I place dirt, and go into my inventory immediately to grab more, it plays again. It doesn't happen all the time.
Hoping for this to get fixed, can't join my server 75% of the time.

Edit: Seems to only happen on the recent snapshots, and when googling, it apparently also happened with a few modpacks.
This is ruining my snapshot server because nobody can log on, please fix!

Game is almost unplayable due to this bug; if I leave what I've built and then come back, it will take 20 minutes to fix all of the lighting. Really hope that this is fixed soon.
