Hi, I'm having the exact same problem. I haven't opened minecraft for a while so I just updated my minecraft launcher to the 2.2.3125 (Windows) update before trying to open it and it opened the opening screen just fine right? Then I walked away to grab a drink really quick, and boom! The screen said whoops! Something went terribly wrong and you've probably encountered a bug. Please file a report, etc.. I don't know what to do.
