Not shure what workaround you are suggesting,
i have good internet speed, and neither me or the three other people playing on the realm can connect to the realm, it happened to us al at the same time.
And i cant download the backups nor the current world on the realm
Im having the same exakt problem, updated game, i managed to "reset" my realms,. and could join that, but cant upload the backup i just downloaded from the same realms i took prior to reseting it either.
Realms version 1.17.10 when checking the backups.
