I'd like to comment that this happened to me too in Multiplayer. It seems to happen when spawning an item that doesn't exist (apparently). I am using Spigot 1.10.2, which has a Material enum containing the 'COCOA' material. When spawning this item this error starts to pop up. I'd also like to add that /give <me> cocoa results in "There is no such item with name minecraft:cocoa".
