You can use the left mouse button to split a stack evenly, too.
I'd actually like it, when the MMB would split all available items of this kind - but that'd kind of a feature request...

I'd do that, if my tickets wouldn't get falsely closed and ignored afterwards!

Bug is still present in 1.8-pre3.

How can anyone deny the fact that this is a bug?
(If I recieve no answer until the next version is released, I'll create a duplicate of this bug.)

Well, for me is even split LMB and one per slot RMB, but there could be a number of reasons for that.

However, in 1.7.10 and lower the middle mouse button did split the stacks, like the LMB does. This function is now obviously bugged, while the LMB splitting does still work.
