Yeah it does look like that bug, which makes things even stranger because that bug was apparently fixed. Has it returned with a vengeance?

I added the seed and coordinates, they are in the screenshots. 

Well this intended behaviour sucks in my opinion.

Zombies are way too op in their 50 block vision.
