Still present in 1.7.2, tested in multiplayer: 1. Made a map, activated it and zoomed out to maximum level. 2. Copied the map, placing the copy in an item frame. 3. Explored surrounding terrain. Both green and white arrow still visible. 4. Put the copy in hand into a chest. Did other things for a while. 5. Picked up the map from the chest. Now only the green arrow was visible.
Attempts to see the white arrow below the map failed. Green arrow did not disappear when removing the map from the item frame, white arrow still hidden. Problem persisted when replacing the map on the wall, and when shuffling the copies around. Both map in hand and map on the wall are affected.
