I have attached a screenshot of my gold farm layout. I couldn't attach a worldsave because the file size is too big.
(ps I have a feeling that the portal blocks have the same spawning mechanic as string)
No, but there are no other spaces for the slimes to spawn. They keep teleporting from my gold farm, which 100% of the possible spawning spaces are portals, and from building it I know that some of the portals were in a slime chunk
oops sorry about that. I did use the search function but nothing showed up :s
Looks pretty normal to me. (A while back they changed the texture of the endermite)
