Same crashing issue with me also.
iPad Pro 12.9 4th gen with updated iOS.
Minecraft version 1.20.71

When I go to play it gets to the “appearance is taking longer than expected…” and doesn’t continue loading, just freezes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to download.
2. Won’t download. 
3.
Observed Results:
One of two things happen. The download 
appears to start but doesn’t finish. Or it says 
having trouble connecting to marketplace. But I can download other marketplace content. 
Expected Results:
Pencil Craft downloads and installs on my iPad and I live happily ever after. 8)

Still not resolved for pocket edition (iphone/iPad) today’s date 03/31/2019
it needs fixed, I can’t get farm animals back to the stable unless I clear the grass out of their path.
Also, they follow me into the boat and get stuck.
