Same problem, just thought I'd add my experience with it. I am not in a server, just playing single mode on my laptop Win10. Updated to the same snapshot, 1.14.2 pre-4.

When stuck, I could not be killed by mobs. I was finally released the first time by a creeper blowing up the door. Phantoms would not hit me, and I was stuck going into the house (therefor, outside.) 

I could not release myself by going into Creative mode, only Spectator, which was very interesting.

I see in Reddit that another player reverted to 1.13 and he was released, then returned to 1.14.2, not sure whether he was using the pre-release 4.

There is a similar problem when trying to exit a boat, but this is older I believe.
