While i understand users resolving tickets by themselves could be easily abused. I don't see how the author of an issue being able to remove a report he no longer deems valid to be 'abused'.
As a suggestion, you could allow authors to remove their issues IF they haven't yet been marked or looked at by a developer or watched by others. This could help limit the number of 'invalid' reports or duplicates which would free up time for you guys to focus on the issues that are actually valid.
I understand if you think it still could be abused, just thought i could clear up that i wasn't talking about resolving issues or being able to remove them after a developer or mod is tracking them.
Regardless, thanks for looking into it and marking it for me.
Thank you for marking the issue for me.
