My child has the same issue on the same device. An Honor 8a running Android. It happens on all worlds, including realms, whether they are old or new. The same world accessed at the same time on a different device (XBox One, Win10 or another Android phone) does not have the issue.
We have re-installed MC and cleared the app cache on the phone to no effect.
