This is obviously a bug. I have started experiencing this as well since 1.17.
Your official Community Support was unable to help me. Contacting Mojang support resulted in them telling me to open a ticket here which keeps getting closed since it's Invalid.

EDIT: I would just like to clarify that I personally never attempted to open a ticket on this subject since I found this one that was closed.
