What fixed it for me (I updated windows before doing this)
To activate the Windows Mixed Reality OpenXR Runtime again, launch Mixed Reality Portal from the Start menu, and select "Fix it" at the top of the window. If that button is missing, the OpenXR runtime is already active.

I was playing fine with Samsung Odyssey VR with Mixed Reality, after update, a window of minecraft pops up in the VR house instead of going full VR mode. 😞 

I presume beta tester test the update, what gives? No one tested VR mode? Its holiday now, the whole next week, we wont see update until after 4th of January, I was counting to play all week in VR, damn

You can bypass the "Only available on specific platforms," message by clicking on your world - multiplayer and toggle off the multiplayer but it still CHANGES the skin back to Alex or Steve. Hope it gets fixed soon!
