Same here. Moreover - it happened also with cows and sheep, although chickens' escapes are more frequent. Like Michele said - it happens also with villagers, they escape right in front of me. It's difficult to turn them into prisoners now 🙂 Fortunately none of my villagers managed to escape double fence, so there is hope.
Please fix this bug, thousands will be happy...

Just thinking... In 1.2 I had no problems with escaping animals. In 1.4.2 they started to escape through fences to the north - placing double fence on this side was sufficient to keep them inside. But now in 1.5.1 they escape literally everywhere! It's really annoying ang getting worse :/ I would be sooo happy to have it fixed...
