I'm having the exact same issue. No problems at all in windowed mode, when I switch to full screen black flashes every 5 minutes or so. Seems I have the same video card the GT540M

Looking through my log file while playing with settings I found I get the flash every time I get this log entry:
[06:26:14] [Netty IO #1/ERROR]: Channel became inactive! [06:26:14] [Netty Client IO #1/ERROR]: Channel became inactive!
