The same has been happening to me. And still does. I found this i never removed Synergy. But in 1.7.10 Up to 1.8 about it keeps spinning everywhere. When i tried 1.8.9 which is a bug fix it works. But the problem it does the same thing just than you can stop it it does not spin it spins slowly. But if i click on the screen It stops. I'm still trying to find a solution of which button it will make it stop.
