I was on Singleplayer. I just started a multiplayer server for myself. I still haven't been able to recreate this. Even using teleports. I'm assuming it was more or less a glitch than a bug. The bug you mentioned actually could be what I experienced.
I couldn't re-create this after multiple tries. It was probably more of a glitch than a bug since I did a PC restart before re-attempting this. I also did a Graphics driver update. Likely what solved that problem. I attached the F3 menu anyways. Probably doesn't help.
