I am experiencing the same issues. I have cleared a huge area in a deep ocean from Y30 to Y5 and goes for around 120 blocks and no need to light it up as nothing spawns in there. In the supplied screenshot i am in the center of the cleared out section

Also, not sure how to report an issue with the beta but all the half slabs are shadowed on top. So a row of quartz half slabs placed as top or bottom are almost black.
I am having the same issue I am unable to load my realm that I am paying for, I only have an option to create a new one. The other members of the realm can play on it fine and are not part of the beta.
Nevermind, feel free to continue ignoring this I figured out how to fix the problem. Just let the membership expire no sense playing for a game with zero support. I enjoy the technical aspect of the game not just building buildings Since you took all the technical fun out of MCPE and ruined the spawn rates making it such a grind to get simple supplies not even fun any longer.
