Ok so I MIGHT have isolated what is doing this to the texture pack! I went through and cleared the 1.8MB Festive file out of my cached data under settings/storage/cached data (Follow those menu options while IN the game). I then logged back into my realm it said it had a resource pack applied and it gave me the prompt to either download and join the realm or just join. Since I already had the Festive pack downloaded on my machine I decided to skip the whole "download and join" and just click on the bottom option to join. Lo and behold it actually got rid of the invisible block problem by NOT downloading that extra 1.8MB file it keeps putting in my cached data. So my next question to anyone either in the Minecraft team or the community is what exactly is that 1.8MB file, why is it messing up the texture pack, and can it just be ignored forever? Or can the team somehow fix whatever it is?
This issue has resurfaced on bedrock edition specifically when trying to add the mashup pack to a realm. I see everything fine when I log into the realm on my xbox, but for some reason my PCs get the invisible doors/plants/torches bug.
