I think this is a bad "feature"/"bug" that should be removed.
1) If the player sees a ravine with, for example, diamonds on the bottom, they go for it. But if a creeper the comes from a cave above you and insta-detonates on top of you, that is a game-breaker. You can never clear out ALL the caves above you, so creepers could fall on top of you. But if they do, you should get at least a few moments to either switch to your sword and block or hit it to push it away.
2) As Vechs said: "If the player dies, it should be because he/she did something wrong him/herself."
This is not really a bug, it is because double chests are actually just 2 chests next to eachother, each with their contents. The combining is merely visual. But I would really like to see the filling of double chests added too!
this is probably due to the feature where, if you double-click an item you get the items stacked. It shouldn't do this on the output of a crafting table though
The problem is that it is not consistent, so for example a windows user that changes to mac will be annoyed by the fact that he/she cannot see as much as on windows. It should be identical on different operating systems. So either both dark like on mac, or both light like on windows (my preferred option).
