This is happening to me too, and is really annoying me.
I have restarted Minecraft, deleted all appdata.minecraft files and re-installed Minecraft like 3 times. Updated Java, and video card drivers through Geforce Experience. I don't know what is a BIOS but don't really know how to access it or what to do there
