Yeah, basically whenever you reload an area.

No. It doesn't seem to be the same issue. They are removed, nothing's left. No sounds not hitbox.

Confirmed in 15w31c,
Mojang please, forget about the minor bugs in the games, one of the key elements in the game has not been functioning for over a year now.
The solution has even been found by the community.

Happens in multiplayer Direct connect too.
The save file size didn't change. From the task manager, Ram usage is static, harddrive usage is zero, and very occasional CPU use.

Crash report added.I waited for a few minutes playing single, but the problem didn't come up. After I started LAN world, without any player joining, the flashing appears.

Got a screenshot.
I notice something really interesting that the flashing seems to be paused during screenshots by pressing F2, making it impossible to catch one. I use the screenshot function in Windows 8 to finally get one.

I want to mention another issue that might be relating to this, in multiplayer via direct connect, after playing, when I hit save and quit to title, the client would sometimes freezes. I have to force shut down the client, however, the world is saved anyway despite it's freezing. I doubt this might damage my world file and cause the flashing issue.

right on it after im back from the recitation.

This happens with or without hamachi, since i play direct connect most of the time actually. i just want to state it's a multiplayer. Besides I don't think hamachi as a external connection tool would have any impact on the graphic glitch for the host.

@lucas how do I solve this. I have been playing 1.8 on a windows 8 for a while, and it didn't come up.
