Update: I tried archiving Minecraft then redownloading on my Nintendo Switch console (sometimes that's helped issues in the past). Still no change, though, unfortunately. Same error message as before.

We've been running into the same issue consistently for the past couple days. It's really frustrating. I'll get 15-20 minutes into playing and it'll disconnect me and I lose all of my progress. It happened to me 3 times yesterday. I eventually gave up. 

We'll just be playing in the realm like normal and out of nowhere we get the "Disconnected from Server" message.

I've tried archiving and redownloading, but it hasn't helped. This is on the Nintendo Switch.

Experiencing this same issue on Nintendo Switch. Has nothing to do with my internet. Sometimes it causes me to not even be able to access the realm. Sometimes it boots me from the realm. Really frustrating. I've tried archiving and redownloading, but it makes no difference whatsoever.

Having the same issue, however also experiencing what we like to call "the loading screen of doom" where if I try to open a chest or my inventory it takes a lifetime to load. Usually when this happens we also run into this issue with the lag. Super frustrating. 

Updated to 1.16.21 on Nintendo Switch. Now getting an error ever few seconds and can’t play on realm. I did look at details and it said there is maintenance being done on realms until 1 am on 8/21. So hopefully tomorrow it’s back up and running. 

IconicEcho - Can confirm the world still does not upload even after the error. Same issue as before. It’s worse now though because when we do enter the realm to check, it crashes the game. 

Wanted to add too, when we enter the realm now to even check if it worked it locks up our Nintendo Switch and we have to hold the power button to get it to restart. It never did that before. Huge pain. 

Just subscribed to a brand new realm to try this out with the update, and we’re still getting an error. Has anyone had luck with this? We’re beyond frustrated. This is ridiculous. (We use Nintendo Switch)
