direction ejection from activator rails, ejection landing spot in green wool for the 4 cardinal directions. west is the best direction logically.
I did further testing, there is also a thread somewhere hear about the ejection. to the west the ejection happens to the rear. to the east it happens in front which immediately picks up the entity back into the cart. the north and south it happens to the east. I have a picture diagram of the various ejection locations I will attach. the green wool is the ejection landing spots.
villagers only seem to eject if the cart is moving slow enough... otherwise they either don't eject or get picked right back up.
this is how the portals are being created in the overworld by the game. both times buried underneath. if it is strictly portal location math that wouldn't be a huge deal. the fact portals aren't lit, and you spawn in blocks is probably not how the game should work, especially in hardcore mode o.O
I just had similar problem in 12w28b. created portal, went to nether, came back through to being buried underneath portal. hardcore mode. luckily dug myself out. portal two blocks in front and 2 high above where I was buried, unlit. went back through nether. came back and game spawned a second portal right next to first generated one in overworld also unlit. almost suffocated to death. quit, went to MCedit, spawned me outside of portal in stone directly underneath second portal... none of which were original portal I created in overworld.
Thank you very much, couldn't find that earlier! you can just delete this whole thing.
where is an official support forum for the game? the error doesn't come from downgrading but accidentally upgrading. this says 'Issues', which this is a serious issue.
how is this resolved? there is no resolution in thread linked either. I am trying to get a legitimate answer to these codes and/or answer to the future playability of the entire world.
as of 1.0.10 I have not had this audio issue happen to me again. thank you for whatever was fixed.
this is still very much happening. I have lots of video of it. I have an iron golem farm with villagers constantly falling out of their enclosures, I have cows, chickens, cats... just about any mob getting stuck in blocks [my entire chicken farm is dead]... and oddly on my skeleton XP farm, at the "drop", the skeleton will teleport up and down the shaft until finally committing to the drop and then I can kill them. I don't know if it is related, but watching the villagers fall out of the golem farm, it is similar in nature. they fall out, then up, then down, then up, then down and will eventually reside on the ground. I hope it is fixed at some point.
this might not be a "bug" with minecraft the actual game, but it IS a bug with the launcher which is required to PLAY the game. this needs to be resolved properly and without condescending remarks as to what OS they are using.
i could have been an ass as well and opened another ticket regarding this. i was sent to this site from mojang support twitter account to report it as a bug... but i did an actual search and found this thread. i realize the launcher is not very mature right now and is prone to bugs but you shouldnt discount things that are wrong that come in and mock the OS version someone is using. i own 5 copies of this game [3 on pc, 2 PE editions] and expect better support and respect.

criticizing why someone is running 32bit OS isnt helpful. not sure how this is a technical issue, its a problem with the launcher 1.0.8, MC 1.5.2 never had this problem. i have a similar 32bit setup, sound system goes into silent mode [which makes an unplayable game]
this issue isnt "resolved" until i can launch the game and have sound 100% of the time.
latest build, 1.8.1 pre5 has killed my single player world. my hardware should be powerful enough.
win7, java 1.8.0_25 64bit
i7 6 core 3.4ghz
gtx680 4gb
32 gb ram [4gb allocated]
LOW frame rates <20fps, usually around 5-10fps. can no longer play in the single player world. world was created in 1.8
