I just got this glitch myself, and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's been affected by it.
For reference, I'm playing on the same version that the original poster is playing on, but on a different device (specifically a Kindle Fire). I'll be adding a video example of the glitch soon.
Edit 1: I've attached the video file. The glitched item in question is Netherite Boots.
Edit 2: OK apparently the file's too big and I didn't realize at first, but I'll try to cut it down to size... somehow. I'll be back soon.
Edit 3: Okay, so it turns out that 30 seconds is almost 5× the maximum file size on here, and not even video compression will help me out here. I'll just leave a link to the file instead.
