I understand that this bug will likely not get fixed. But the one thing I don't like is the mod notice on the post, they say this bug usually on the players side when from all the evidence I have seen it's probably not the case. No amount of editing and playing with graphics card settings, or optifine settings make this bug go away. I hope the mod notice clarify's that it is not the NVIDIA settings causing the problem

@Fabian Roling the minecraft pvp scene is all on 1.8.9 I simply cant update to the newer versions of the game because the combat in 1.9 and above was highly changed and the update made competitive PVP more slow and boring. I don't think that this should be some update that only works on 1.16 but I think we need an update to the entire minecraft graphics system. But that's likely out of the question and propably SUPER hard to pull of. 

@Matej Mraz the vanilla tweaks are nice, but the downside is that the texture pack only works for recent version an not 1.8.9 the version most people use for pvp. And the texture pack also can increase lag in the game since the entire inside of the sword if filled with black to cover the seams. The game has to render more which leads to more lag. I don't want this to be only solvable by a texture pack, why has minecraft not fixed this ?

@unknown this problem is not on all blocks but all held items. i have tried every fix I dont think my GPU is the problem

This has still been a problem for me. I have tried EVERYTHING PEOPLE !  changing graphic card settings, editing minecraft settings. optifine does not help at all either. The mod notice on the page says that this is mostly a graphics cards issue but I have had AMD and NVIDIA with the same problems ? none of the GPU settings fix this. 

Parker it is true that this texture pack fixes the problem but it is only supported for more recent versions. Also it can cause more lag since the way he fixed it was by filling the entire words inside. Sadly this does not fix older versions such as 1.8

is there a fix for AMD drivers ? 

I have been dealing with this for months now it gets on my nerves 😞 i have tried putting mipmap to 0 and I don't have NVIDIA so I cant fix it through their software. turning off anti aliasing in my computer settings is not working either ! I made sure I was letting minecraft deal with itself and that my graphics card wouldn't interfere. Please help !
