Today I bought Minecraft Dungeons 1 as both a test and maybe something I can play with my kids since we can’t play 2 together. Not sure if its helpful info, but I’m able to login and play the first game without issue on steam.
Just wanted to add a note that I saw on steam that:
We’ve resolved most login and account linking issues on the backend, so if you are having trouble, please try again! We’re continuing to monitor additional issues in this area.
However, I want to make sure its clear I’m still having issues. I’ve been trying on two different computers and both are still giving the 0064 error.
I’ve tried to change my steam username and made sure its only using normal characters. I also have tried logging out of xbox. If I log out of xbox and launch the game I get a different error in a “Xbox” window:
We couldn’t sign you in to XBOX Live
Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a while. (0x89245104)
I’ve tried on another machine and I get the same issue. Also worth noting that Forza 6 and other steam purchased microsoft games work without an issue on this same computer
If I try and log out of the xbox app and then start the game I get a popup window that says “we couldn’t sign you in to xbox live. with a code 0x89245104
the error I get is 0064. My 2 kids both own this game also on steam and if we log them in on the same computer to their steam accounts they are both able to get in. This only seems to be an issue with my account.

This happens only with Minecraft Dungeons II. Dungeons I, forza 6, sea of thieves and other MS games on steam work without issue.
I get this issue on multiple networks and machines (steam machine, windows 10 machine, and a windows 11 machine)
Other users on the windows machines who own the same themselves are able to use minecraft dungeons II without issue. This is only an issue it seems with my account.
