Just made this account to say I'm having the same issue. On Java, 1.18.2. A week ago I put up several signs, this week they are all blank. Nothing explicit on any signs. Personally, no issues in chat for now, just tested explicit words and they all showed. Grant it, I was the only one online at the time of testing the explicit chat messages.
