We are having exactly same problem but playing the PE edition, together on an iPhone and iPad, loggged under the same Apple ID but with different names. Mobs are disappearing and also we cannot pick up all the stuff that we gather by mining or hitting. Tryied to exit the game and save it, and to return back and the problem still persists
