that same thing happened to me and i was playing both on a snapshot and on 1.7.4 and both times all my itemss remained the same and the way they were but one day i logged out as i always do, esc save quit to title and about 1 day later i logged back in and i realised my inventory was empty and i was wearing no armor so i thought i had died as i hadn't played in about a day and a half i'd forgotten if i had or not so i went to my ender chest and realised it was empty and then i got suspicious i opened the rest of the chests i they were all empty even the item frames and the armor on horse was gone as well ! i am very angry and upset because i had been working on this world for 2 years and i had 40 diamond blocks and a chest of diamond tools so any help a all would be appreciated greatly
