No. The villagers will holding an item as it showed in MCPE-58653, although the page is about a different bug. The bug I am talking about is a villager holding an item constantly. Use one villager by itself and give it at least 8 stacks so it has full inventory, it will use its hotbar to hold it. You can use any villager.
