I am having the same issue on 1.13.1 (fully updated Android Samsung Galaxy Tab). Minecraft worked well until 1.13.0 update and then this crashing behaviour on launch started.
Note I have reviewed MCPE-54465, which relates to iOS app crash behaviour similar to what I am seeing (but I am using Android).
Android 9.0, MCPE version 1.13 App crash on launch, Minecraft does not start and UI returns to home screen. Minecraft worked until approx 24 hrs ago (issue appears to have started after an update). actions taken:. Device software has been updated, restarted and cleaned (storage, memory, etc). Minecraft app uninstalled and then reinstalled.
