here too. was playing a few minutes ago. Sound bugged out and started playing continuous static. closed the game to reboot it. same error as above exactly.
thanks Noah. After pre 4 my minecraft started insta crashing. came here for a solution. Tried your advice and it seems to have worked. 🙂
