this has also happened to me, not with the items that i know of, but with axolotls. my boyfriend and i play on a realm and found some, brought them home and enclosed an area for them with a pond and some grass. we named them, and went on with our day. we both got offline about 20 minutes later. the next morning i got back on and found them both gone. i know they couldn’t have gotten out as we had a horse in the same space still there that was also named. frustrating as this was the first time i’ve been able to find them since the update that released them, which was awhile ago.
