Having the same issue. The right movement button on pocket edition doesn't seem to work most of the time, especially when sliding sideways, such as squatting and sliding backwards using right arrow to press against the side of a ledge while I'm placing blocks with my right hand, it is acting like I'm taking action under the left hand controller spot and not using the control for movement.
