Today I realized that at night you can see the sun moving through the bugged texture.
As for the quick fix I mentioned above, you don't necessarily need to lower nor raise the mipmapping level. Once you open the mipmap level setting, you just have to tweak it a little and even set it back to the previous setting on which the problem has occurred. Then the bugged texture will be gone for a while.
BTW, Whenever I have this problem (which occurs only on ver.1.8, just to remind you again), I can just quick fix it by EITHER turning the mipmapping level UP or Down only until it happens again.
No, it does occur at level 3. As I wrote above, it occurred after it was once fixed by turning the mipmapping level from 4 to 3. Turning it down to 2 or even 1 is somewhat unbearable for me graphical quality wise, so I have't really tried the lower levels...
This is the new crash report.
I received an email which notified me that this issue was "reopened" but now it says "resolved." I am confused.
Anyways, I am attaching a new crash report. The same graphical issue has been occurring off and on. Today, it occurred once and was fixed when I turned the mipmapping level to 3 and then it occurred again. The diver for the video card is the latest.
This keeps happening to me with the latest driver too. I can solve the problem by tweaking the mipmapping level but it's just a emergency patch that works only until it happens again.
Thank you for the reply.
I guess it is quite natural to guess there is some problem with 1.8 when a certain glitch happens only in 1.8 and only at a certain level of mipmapping and not in another version.
But i guess your judgement is based on some technical analysis of my crash report, so ... I don't know, but I guess have to give up on this issue.
Actually the problem doesn't seem to happen with the mipmapping set to 3 or lower.
I tried different levels of mipmapping lower than 3 and didn't see the problem happen, and when I turned it back to 4, it did't happen for a while, but just until today.
Today I have just come across the same problem so I forced a crash and attached a file.
Now I will see if I experience it again with the mipmapping set to 3.
By the way, the first attached picture in this post resembles the graphical bug I experience.

Thanks for the comment.
I will first try disabling mipmapping and see what happens.
If I experience the same problem, I will try forcing a crush according to your instruction and put up the report here.
OK, I found that the glitch doesn't occur when I turn Mipmap completely off (to "0") but I have another glitch instead (screenshot attached https://bugs.mojang.com/secure/attachment/86459/2014-12-09_16.12.18.png).
Even when I can prevent the glitch by turning Mipmap off, I don't want this problem to be labeled as solved and want them to find some fix for this problem because I end up having another graphical issue, the glitch occurs only on the version 1.8 (1.8.1) and we should never be given deteriorated graphics because of some function added to the newer version.
