those are free to play games which recently we got allowed to play without xbox live gold because of backlash from the community
this isnt a bug, xbox game pass ultimate includes xbox live gold which is required for multiplayer on pay to play games. your subscription ended so you cant play minecraft multiplayer anymore
yes parties were also included in the update
