Holding down the Fn key and the f3 key then releasing the fn key dose work when hitting b.
(Edit) Releasing the Fn key before hitting the f3 key will never work as the existence of the fn key is to use f1,f2,f3 etc. instead of changing the volume or brightness or whatever action the laptop manufacturer has decided to set that key to.
