I have had this issue for over 6 months. It makes the game completely unenjoyable. Many people have reported this and they say they have been "tracking the issue" but they haven't said anything other than that. Some people have said to backup your save data and delete Minecraft then re-downloading it, but that doesn't work. I really don't know what to do about this. It NEEDS to be fixed.

I backed up my data then deleted it and restored it and it still takes forever 😞

for me, the game screen is completely black for a few minutes, then goes immediately to 45%, then 54, then goes up gradually to 100%. completely ruins the game for me.
