Ah, k. I posted it here because it said WEB services and so i thought, well, the bug tracker is a web service. Thanks anyways, I'll contact them.
I think this is actually to do with mining the block, not the anvil, because using pick-block will still give you the block along with its custom name
This also happens on any platform which has the anvil

I'm not a developer or anything, but try to attach a copy of your world. I can check it to see if anything is corrupted or not as it should be and possibly fix it and send it back to you.
