Same issue here, but ours hangs on the Mojang screen. Tried deleting and reinstalling with no luck.

Edit: With the latest update yesterday (Feb11), we can now load and play, but it takes about 5 minutes for each screen (Mojang, Minecraft, worldload, etc)

Tried that. Delete/reinstall did nothing for us. The only way we have been able to get past the Mojang screen is if we receive and invite to join someone else's game via the PS4 messenger system, but even that only partly loaded the game before it stuck again at a later screen.
