I have had a similar problem twice now. Both of the times the Xbox-app that you automaticly get with your windows 11, couldn’t open, due to not being updated or something. I think it is a bug that this prevents the launcher from open, especially since there is no notification or warning or anything.
The solution is to actually do the windows updates where they are released. After that you should be able to play minecraft again.
I personally think it is bad design to have other apps like Xbox be required to run the minecraft launcher especially if you don’t make enough error handling.
This is the second time this ocurred,I had to wait 30 min to install some useless windows update, while all I wanted to do is play some minecraft in the limited time I have for this. Very frustrating
