The same thing happened to me, i was doing a survival world and made a nether portal
went in: Normal
Got to the Nether: Normal
Headed out: Normal
Got out: I Was in a Cave system Next to a bunch of Iron that was 24 chunks away from my home even though my portal was still active

Sorry but I cant give The seed as i forgot to do that.
also i hade to delete the world due to low memory Space
But i will look in my "saves" folder for the world so that i can get the seed
