Also having same issue on my HTC U11, and I have about 15GB of available storage space. It also keeps making random copies of the world that I've been working on, but the copies are all of the world before any work was done on it (I've been working on it for over 2 years). The new copies will say the world is anywhere between 100-150MB, but if I go in to the world and exit it, it changes to between 2-4MB.
I'm making a separate bug report for that just in case it's not related, but it seems like the storage is buggy.
Same issue on Android (HTC U11). Majority of vines don't break off, even when entire tree is cut down.

If I go into the world and exit though, it will then change to say it's only 2-4MB and will have the correct date.
I am also having the issue where as soon as I try to even move in my world, it will exit the world and say that "You are out of data storage space and Minecraft is unable to save your progress. Minecraft will return you to the main menu to clear up storage space." so I'm assuming the storage is just buggy.
