1.14.3 - Mined blocks or dropped items will delay in picking up of several seconds. This appears to be associated with a general lag, most easily demonstrated when chopping down a tree. The lag can be see in three ways:
1. Chopped blocks reappear.
2. Mined blocks cannot immediately be collected.
3. As leaves disintegrate, FPS drops significantly. Â
It appears the game engine is processing changes slower than 1.13, stops accepting changes or loses them, and in some cases is overwhelmed by the amount of them.
@morpheus - How do I edit this same file on MacOS? I can find the file, but I have no way to view and edit the contents.

Same issue here. It started after updating the Minecraft Launcher for MacOS to version 426 (1).

but the ironic thing is they can spawn under that space
So, what I have experienced with is this:
Killed a pillager party, which entered a village including the bannerman. This resulted in getting the Bad Omen effect. Â
As I was getting a bucket to drink milk to cure myself of the Bad Omen effect, the Raid began. Drank the milk, no more Bad Omen effect. However, I was still within the boundary of the Village. Raid after Raid takes place, but the Gollum is taking care of the raiding parties. That is until a Ravager with another raiding party appears.
The problem, is, that whether or not I was involved in the raid or not, whether or not I killed any of the pillagers or not, the raids continuously happened despite the Bad Omen effect in place. This problem appears to happen when a raid starts within the village while you're within the village boundary. It continues to happen despite whether or not you still have the Bad Omen effect on you or not.
