Here's how to disable the beta launcher again:
If you switched to the beta launcher and can't log in, you can switch back by editing launcher_profiles.json in your minecraft folder. Change the "channel" field from "beta" to "release".

Whenever I put my login information into the new launcher it loads infinitely. If I put in the wrong information it says "Invalid username or password" and I have logged into minecraft.net to make sure I was able to login.

Beta worked fine for my wife until she had to relogin under a new ID token, so I am guessing when the launcher has to verify ID it breaks the ID system forcing an infinite ID check. I hope this helps track the bug!
Same here, just a continuous "load" screen except when I tried a second time it completely forgot the name I was trying to log in with originally. The other 2 players that launcher has access to were there but it completely forgot me. Went back to the old launcher and had it had, indeed, completely lost me... had to re-enter my player credentials,
Same as above. I had to go back to the normal launcher and re-enter my credentials there, and it worked.
I have fixed this by deleting my Minecraft files so that I can return to the old launcher.
